Electronic Professional Development (EPD) is a Florida Department of Education online professional development program for teachers. The courses are designed to provide easily accessible opportunities to increase teachers’ competencies in using instructional approaches that work and have evidence to support their effectiveness. The courses offer the knowledge, practical application and support for implementation, as well as assistance with measuring impact on student performance.

Concept Mastery Routine Course - This course is based on the Concept Mastery Routine, one of the Content Enhancement Routines developed at the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning.
Unit Organizer Routine Course - This course is based on the Unit Organizer Routine, another of the Content Enhancement Routines developed at the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning.
These routines have been found to be effective with middle and high school students and can be used in many different academic content areas, such as science, mathematics, social studies, and English.
The courses are offered free of charge to Florida educators through coordination of the FDLRS HRD Coordinating Unit, FDLRS Associate Centers, and school districts around the state.
