FIN Services

District Administrators or ESE Program Staff

The Florida Inclusion Network (FIN) provides free information, professional development, and support to districts/schools related to the inclusion of students with disabilities in general education classrooms/school settings and participation in the general education curriculum.

During your initial contact with your local FIN facilitator, you will be asked to provide background information about how your district currently supports students with disabilities, identify any questions and/or concerns you might have, and identify your goals/desired outcomes for your schools and students.

Based on your individual situation, your FIN facilitator will work with you to:

  • identify "next steps,"
  • provide you, your school-based administrators, your teachers, and your families with information about inclusion and instructional practices that support students with diverse learning needs,
  • identify professional learning opportunities that are based on your district’s data/needs, and
  • help you to contact/access other resources and supports that might be appropriate for your specific situation.

Your FIN facilitator is available to provide you with on-going support and technical assistance including action planning, team problem-solving, professional development, and follow-up.
